August 20th, 2020 "Lingua (vol.1)" is released
Five years after the previous "Export Diabolique" comes the new highly anticipated CD. It 's only the first part in truth, as it is now practice (in this era of "singles" ...) to break the album in two. And so this volume 1 contains the 6 tracks of the so-called "Side A", while the remaining 6 tracks of the "Side B" will presumably come out in early November. Always on Bandcamp.
Why is it called "LINGUA"? (tongue, but also language, in italian) It is easy to say: because it contains songs sung in different languages. So, inside it, you will find both songs sung in Italian (as in the first 3 CDs), both in English (as in the fourth, "Export Diabolique"), and one also in French, inherited from an ancient Francophone incarnation, namely the Bohemien Flambé , an antesinian project par excellence, active from the mid 80s until 1991, but never completely abandoned. (see the album "Oublier Internet" released in 2018 plus several singles)
August 20th, 2020 The video of the first single is released
Simultaneously with the CD, there is also the video of the first single on youtube, that's the enthralling and very actual "Leave a little room for Jesus". Refrain Catholic fundamentalists and hypersensitive people, LOL.
August 28th, 2020 The video of the second single is released
Surprisingly, the video for the second single "Danish robot dancers" is also released. Always on Youtube.
November 15th, 2021 "Lingua (vol.2)" is released
Simultaneously with the CD, the video of the first single on youtube is also released, namely "Ripidi dorimpoi", which incredibly is censored by those hypocrites of youtube, presumably because it contains some war images, however easily available on youtube. This absurd censorship is easily explained, as the youtube channel is not one that generates views and therefore advertising revenues and which instead is allowed to use the same images or even worse, both in terms of crudeness and pornography (which is not the case of GGD...) and we said it all. Apart from these hateful ostracisms of the youtube giant, the second part of "Lingua" contains the other 6 songs and is also published on Bandcamp. And it is also, for a short time, published on Spotify and other streaming platforms, like volume 1.
March 8th, 2022 "Lingua (DeLuxe version)" is released
The new album is completed, which combines the 6 songs of volume 1 with the 6 of volume 2, plus two unreleased songs. And three volume 2 tracks have new mixes. The final version of this fifth work by GGD is also distributed on Bandcamp, but shortly afterwards it is also distributed on Spotify and the best digital streaming platforms. Soon the official videos of both unreleased tracks, "Sickening" and the instrumental "NasconNido", will also be released, fortunately not (yet) censored by youtube. And the fourth CD "Export Diabolique" has also recently returned to Spotify & co., which is always a good thing, even if it is still a drop in the ocean of today's productions/self-productions.
December 24th, 2022 "Bang on those Christmas drums" is released (The Pedale Baroque Christmas single 2022)
Surprisingly, but not too much, a new single is out. This is a contribution by GGD for the historic and annual Pedale Baroque Christmas single, which seems to conclude with this song its very long journey, which began no less than in 1984 (!) and which has brought together many artists over all these years. Thus "Bang on those Christmas drums", in addition to being "The Pedale Baroque Christmas single 2022", is also a moving tribute to the prematurely deceased Foo Fighters drummer "Taylor Hawkins". Available on Bandcamp, but also soon on Spotify and other streaming platforms, while the video can be found on youtube.
